Kenya

Kenya

Kenya is an amazing country of contrasts. However, nothing can prepare you for how diverse it is. The main attraction remains the big five - Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard which can be viewed in Kenya's numerous parks. Apart from the game, Kenya boasts 536 kilometers of coastline. Relax on the sandy beaches or engage in water sports. Mount Kenya, Africa's second highest peak is a mountaineer's delight.

The Great Rift Valley slices through the country and on its bed lies saline lakes which support millions of bird life. To the north lies the Chalbi Desert which should do well to test your endurance.

See the big five, the lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard along with giraffe and herds of zebra and gazelle in their spectacular natural settings. The Masai Mara Game Reserve forms the northern part of the Serengeti which has the largest concentration of wildlife in the world. Come and experience the 'The Great Wildebeest Migration' from July to October.

Kenya also has 536 kilometers of coastline on the Indian Ocean. Her coral reefs are spectacular and are regarded by divers as one of the world’s top three diving destinations after Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and the Red Sea. There are numerous off shore islands, including Kiwaiyu, Pate, Manda, Lamu, Mombasa, Chale, Funzi and Wasini.
Enjoy lying by the beach, big game fishing, wind surfing and snorkeling.
